Mississippi Roast
Jessica's Mississippi Roast Recipe
Ingredients
* 1 (2.5 lb) chuck roast
* 1 packet ranch dressing mix
* 1 packet French Onion Mix
* 1 stick of butter butter
* 1 Can of Sweet Heat Banana peppers
* 1 chopped sweet yellow onion
* 1/2 cup water
Instructions
* Put 1/2 cup of water in bottom of Instant Pot. Insert Trivet. Place roast on the Instant Pot Trivet. Layer on ingredients starting with onions, then the peppers UNDRAINED (we want the juices in it too), the Ranch Mix, & the French Onion Soup Mix. Now lay the stick of butter right on top. I cooked on manual for one hour with a 15 minute release. Serve with rice noodles, rice or mashed potatoes. Enjoy!
